when it's blog feed: YES, but blogroll: NO

I found a pretty cool blog just now, via blogroll.org, and I went ahead and added a section of that blog to my 1Feed RSS reader, and was all set to send out an e-mail to the person, and tell her that I appreciated her writing, and then likely add the blog to my blogroll, but there was no contact/e-mail listed anywhere on the blog :/ So, it just got added to 1Feed, and that's all.

Generally I have had some communication with the people on my blogroll, especially the "friends" section, obviously. And other times, for the section above, I have sent out "cold" e-mails, which sometimes don't get replied to.
