Apparently salt costs $200 a bag in St Louis, because none was used on the roads nor parking lot in this area. The parking lot has spotty areas without ice, most of it covered in a fairly thick layer of ice. And as soon as I got to the road outside of the complex, there was next to no salt on it, either. The entirety of the sidewalks leading to/from Telegraph Road - ice. It's amazing how cities go out of their way to build infrastructure they have no intention of maintaining. So, getting to/from Dierbergs would be a gamble every step of the way. In fact, I am positive I would fall. So fuck that.

I guess this is the new Texas Method of hazardous weather treatment - let everything play out with Mother Nature and sort of hope for the best.

What an atrocious county
