When it is a snowy, overcast, nasty slushfest outside, the only thing that seems to make sense to do is rest (sleep). So, that is what I have been doing on/off since this morning, but now it is time to really start up my day. I also don't want to mess up the (newly) regular sleep I get at night, so I need to be awake during the day. It's 2:30 PM right now, and I made coffee (instant espresso), and thinking I will e-mail the creator of this dbyll theme I have going on this blog. I gave him a follow on Github some time ago (upon discovering this theme (or, discovering what theme this actually was and who made it)), so I will e-mail him (because no Twitter, though that is probably his preferred method of communicae), and ask him where or how to change out the icon links in the left navbar. And also, if it is safe to remove a chunk of code I see in one of the files that indicates the Google+, Twitter, and Facebook share buttons below each post. That whole block of code looks like this:

<div>
        <section class="share col-sm-6">
          <h4 class="section-title">Share Post</h4>
          <a class="btn btn-default btn-sm" href="http://twitter.com/share?text={{encode title}}&url={{url absolute="true"}}"
             onclick="window.open(this.href, 'twitter-share', 'width=550,height=235');return false;">
            <i class="fa fa-twitter fa-lg"></i>
            Twitter
          </a>
          <a class="btn btn-default btn-sm" href="https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u={{url absolute="true"}}"
             onclick="window.open(this.href, 'facebook-share','width=580,height=296');return false;">
            <i class="fa fa-facebook fa-lg"></i>
            Facebook
          </a>
          <a class="btn btn-default btn-sm" href="https://plus.google.com/share?url={{url absolute="true"}}"
             onclick="window.open(this.href, 'google-plus-share', 'width=490,height=530');return false;">
            <i class="fa fa-google-plus fa-lg"></i>
            Google+
          </a>
        </section>

        <section class="col-sm-6 author">
          <img src="{{primary_author.profile_image}}" class="img-rounded author-image" />
          <h4 class="section-title author-name">{{author.name}}</h4>
          <p class="author-bio">{{author.bio}}</p>
        </section>
      </div>

Notice the section class I have included at the bottom, too - that is to get rid of the GIANT photo (of myself) for the Author photo. And also remember that this is open source code, but not MY code - it belongs to dbtek, so sharing this snippet may be construed as questionable, but it can be gotten from GH by anyone, so...yea. No ill will or anything like that.

Anyway, the theme looks awesome, and it's minimalistic and straight forward as could be, and I appreciate that (I'm coming from W.a ffs!).

anyway, back later
